La Havas’ third album just came out and it is truly inspiring and both decadent in its richness and raw in its simplicity. Her voice is a gift.

Scott Walker - Scott 4

Scott Walker was (and is) ridiculously underappreciated. I’ve been rediscovering him lately and this 1969 album has been a wonderful rediscovery.

Leona Naess - Thirteens

Naess is one of those rare, tender singer-songwriters who really understands how to craft a catchy song that also has substance. Naess’ 2008 album is just that.
